　　我非常荣幸代表芬欧汇川（常熟）纸业有限公司参加此次大会。
　　
　　芬欧汇川集团是个拥有百年历史的跨国森林工业集团。它的环保理念是“以经济、环境、社会三重责任并重的可持续发展”， 并力图做到“一个完全依赖自然资源的企业，一定要更加保护自然。”
　　
　　芬欧汇川（常熟）纸业有限公司，位于江苏常熟。她是中国最大的全化学木浆胶版纸和复印纸的生产企业，同时也是芬兰在华最大的单项投资项目。自投产以来，公司一直通过高品质的产品、优美的生产环境、以及对社会对自然负责任的态度向中国公众展示着现代造纸企业的健康形象。
　　
　　公司采用进口全化学木浆为原料。纸浆的原产地均通过第三方认证，并且制浆所用的木材纤维同样是来自于经过认证的可持续发展林地。此外，在建设纸厂生产线的同期，公司就已投资近3亿元人民币从国外专门引进了包括废水处理、废气处理、噪音防治、固废回收利用在内的一整套完善的环保系统。先进的技术和管理理念使得公司年生产能力达80万吨的现代化纸厂的废水及废气排放指标一直远远低于国家的A级标准；固体废料实现全部回收；平均吨纸耗水、耗气、耗电量均堪与欧美先进企业媲美。
　　
　　正是由于这种积极务实的态度和卓越的环保表现，各级政府先后授予了芬欧汇川（常熟）纸业有限公司多项环保荣誉。同时，环保的生产理念和产品也让公司的业务蓬勃发展。目前国内外60多家知名期刊杂志都已成为了我们的长期客户，并且有多个复印纸品种也在中国及亚太市场上占有显著的地位。

　　I am privileged to attend this grand Ceremony on behalf of UPM-Kymmene (Changshu) Paper Industry Co., Ltd.
　　
　　UPM-Kymmene Corporation is a multinational forest industry company with hundreds of years' history. Its environmental protection concept is for the sustainable development with economic, environmental and social responsibilities. And it tries its best to fulfill the principal of "a company wholly depending on natural resources shall attach greater importance to environmental protection".
　　
　　UPM-Kymmene (Changshu) Paper Industry Co., Ltd., located in Changshu Jiangsu Province, is the biggest woodfree fine paper producer as well as the largest "Finnish single investment" in China. Ever since its establishment, the Company has gained a reputation of a healthy and environmentally friendly paper mill through its constant efforts.
　　
　　UPM Changshu Mill imports all the woodfree chemical pulp from aboard that is produced from certified fibres. In parallel with the installation of the production equipment, around 300 million RMB was invested to build modern environmental facilities to treat waste water, flue gas, noise and solid waste. These have helped to yield good results. Nowadays, the Company with an annual capacity of 800,000 tons of printing and writing paper, has successfully maintained an effluent and flue gas emissions level which is far below the Grade A standard of China. All of the solid wastes are recycled and the average consumption of water, steam, electricity is comparable with the European mills.
　　
　　Owing to its advanced environmental vision and practice, UPM-Kymmene (Changshu) Paper Mill has received a series of environmental protection awards from all level's of relevant government departments. Strong environmental responsibility and high quality products have also helped the business of us to grow rapidly. Over sixty renowned magazines have become our long-term customers and the Company now successfully maintains a remarkable position in the Asia-Pacific market with its wide range of copy paper products.
　　
　　The business growth and the environmental performance of UPM-Kymmene (Changshu) Paper Industry Co., Ltd should own to the great support by the environmental authorities and the government departments at all levels. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfull thanks to all of the leaders present today.
　　
　　UPM-Kymmene (Changshu) Paper Industry Co., Ltd will continue to utilize the up-to-date technology, to optimize constantly our production process and achieve better environmental performance, and make contributions in running for the title of "State Environmental Friendly Projects" to make the China environment more clean and beautiful.
